3–5 Months of Steady T

Testosterone Pellets

Testosterone pellets are tiny crystalline implants of bio-identical testosterone, placed just under the skin during a quick in-office procedure. Once inserted, they release testosterone at a steady physiologic rate for 3–5 months — no needles, no daily routines, just clean hormone levels in the background of your life.

How it works

The mechanism

Under local anesthetic, the clinician makes a small incision in the upper outer hip and slides 6–12 pellets into the subcutaneous fat. The pellets dissolve over months, releasing testosterone as cardiac output drives blood flow through the area — meaning your levels rise when you're active and stay calm when you're resting. The whole insertion takes about 15 minutes.

Who it's for

Best candidates

  • Men who travel constantly or hate scheduling weekly injections
  • Patients who already do well on TRT and want a hands-off format
  • Executives and athletes prioritizing convenience and consistency

Protocol

Insertion every 3–5 months. Dose is calculated by weight, lab values and prior response. Bloodwork 6 weeks after each insertion to fine-tune the next dose.

Timeline

Levels rise within days, peak around 4 weeks, and taper across months 4–5. Most men feel the full effect within 2–3 weeks of their first insertion.

What to expect

Side effects & considerations

Minor bruising or tenderness at the insertion site for a few days. Rare extrusion (a pellet working its way out) if you train heavy hips/glutes too soon. Otherwise the side-effect profile mirrors any TRT.
