Needle-Free Testosterone

Oral TRT (Kyzatrex®)

Kyzatrex® (testosterone undecanoate) is an FDA-approved oral testosterone capsule taken twice a day with food. Unlike older oral testosterones, it bypasses the liver via the lymphatic system — so it can deliver clinically meaningful testosterone levels safely, without the hepatic risks that plagued first-generation oral T.

How it works

The mechanism

Each capsule contains testosterone undecanoate, a fat-soluble ester. Taken with a meal, it's absorbed into the lymphatic system rather than the portal vein, sidestepping first-pass liver metabolism. The ester is then cleaved in circulation, releasing free testosterone. Stable physiologic levels are achieved with twice-daily dosing.
